Inspired by the quintessential Australian landscape, we used rustic tones of natural wood, grey brickwork and deep eucalyptus in the external palette to create a symbiotic relationship between the built form and nature.

A contemporary coastal feel with natural white tones and light blue tones from the hand-made plaid wall paper to the striped area rug. Light shades of blue, and white complement the French Oak hardwood flooring. Craftsman style interior trim (baseboards and window casing) gives the room an elegant simplicity. Handmade wall paper provides a balance of busy visual interest. A beautiful white oak nightstands with simple white lamps with brass bases and white linen window curtains provide additional white accents, completing this soft and elegant space.
Plain & PoshThis young family wanted to update their kitchen and loved getting away to the coast. We tried to bring a little of the coast to their suburban Chicago home. The statement pantry doors with antique mirror add a wonderful element to the space. The large island gives the family a wonderful space to hang out, The custom "hutch' area is actual full of hidden outlets to allow for all of the electronics a place to charge.
Warm brass details and the stunning tile complete the area.
