PlaceDesign Kitchens and InteriorsThis extra large dining area wraps around the Caesarstone raw concrete island. Large enough to seat 10 the island comes into its own when entertaining. This was designed for a chef who loves to talk so is a very communal space. The reclaimed timber for the dining table was rescued from a building site locally and it rests upon a bespoke steel frame made by a local blacksmith.

If you’re a fan of The Main Company, you will know that we are passionate about rustic, reclaimed materials and this space comprises everything that we love, mixing natural textures like concrete, brick, and wood, and the end result is outstanding.
Floor to ceiling Crittal style windows create a light and airy space, allowing the homeowners to go for darker, bolder accent colours throughout the penthouse apartment. The kitchen cabinetry has a Brushed Brass Finish, complementing the surrounding exposed brick perfectly, adding a vintage feel to the space along with other features such as a classic Butler sink. The handless cupboards add a modern touch, creating a kitchen that will last for years to come. The handless cabinetry and solid oaks drawers have been topped with concrete worktops as well as a concrete splashback beneath the Elica extractor.
Amanda ThompsonI custom designed this vanity out of zinc and wood. I wanted it to be space saving and float off of the floor. The tub and shower area are combined to create a wet room. the overhead rain shower and wall mounted fixtures provide a spa-like experience.

Sustainable KitchensView of an L-shaped kitchen with a central island in a side return extension in a Victoria house which has a sloping glazed roof. The shaker style cabinets with beaded frames are painted in Little Greene Obsidian Green. The handles a brass d-bar style. The worktop on the perimeter units is Iroko wood and the island worktop is honed, pencil veined Carrara marble. A single bowel sink sits in the island with a polished brass tap with a rinse spout. Vintage Holophane pendant lights sit above the island. The black painted sash windows are surrounded by non-bevelled white metro tiles with a dark grey grout. A Wolf gas hob sits above double Neff ovens with a black, Falcon extractor hood over the hob. The flooring is hexagon shaped, cement encaustic tiles. Black Anglepoise wall lights give directional lighting.

GAMA - Conception d'espacesL'ancienne salle de bain de la suite parentale a laissé place au nouveau dressing. Une ouverture dans le mur attenant à une seconde chambre, de très grande taille a été créé. De ce fait la chambre attenante (amis) a été scindé en deux afin de pouvoir créer une belle salle d'eau avec WC indépendant. En enfilade avec le dressing cet espace est réservé uniquement à la suite parentale.

Мы визуально увеличили его за счёт отражений и скрытой подсветки, которая используется как основной источник. Фасады мебели в гардеробной выполнены из тёмного тонированного стекла, которое отражает свет и зрительно расширяет помещение. В спальне мы сохранили любимую кожаную кровать с прежней квартиры. Над изголовьем с подсветкой располагается пара минималистичных подвесных светильников и современный арт. Ломаный стеклянный стеллаж закрывает историческую кирпичную стену с подсветкой. Глухая часть стеллажа скрывает за собой потайной вход, который ведёт на черную лестницу и небольшую сейфовую комнату.
Elegant in DesignFrom little things, big things grow. This project originated with a request for a custom sofa. It evolved into decorating and furnishing the entire lower floor of an urban apartment. The distinctive building featured industrial origins and exposed metal framed ceilings. Part of our brief was to address the unfinished look of the ceiling, while retaining the soaring height. The solution was to box out the trimmers between each beam, strengthening the visual impact of the ceiling without detracting from the industrial look or ceiling height.
We also enclosed the void space under the stairs to create valuable storage and completed a full repaint to round out the building works. A textured stone paint in a contrasting colour was applied to the external brick walls to soften the industrial vibe. Floor rugs and window treatments added layers of texture and visual warmth. Custom designed bookshelves were created to fill the double height wall in the lounge room.
With the success of the living areas, a kitchen renovation closely followed, with a brief to modernise and consider functionality. Keeping the same footprint, we extended the breakfast bar slightly and exchanged cupboards for drawers to increase storage capacity and ease of access. During the kitchen refurbishment, the scope was again extended to include a redesign of the bathrooms, laundry and powder room.
Amazing SpacesThe existing kitchen was separated from the family room by a 17’ long bookcase. It was the first thing you saw upon entering and it hid much of the light and views to the backyard making the space feel claustrophobic. The laundry room was part of the kitchen space without any attempt to conceal the washer and dryer. Removing the long bookcase opened the opportunity to add counter stools in the kitchen and decided to align a target wall opposite the front door to help maintain some division within the main space while creating a space for the refrigerator. This also allowed us to create an open laundry room concept that would be hidden from view from all other areas.
We kept the industrial feel of the exposed building materials, which we complimented with textured melamine slab doors for the new kitchen cabinets. We maintained the galley set up but defined the kitchen from the utility area by changing both thickness and color of the countertop materials. Because the back of the house is mainly windows, there was very little wall space for upper cabinets and everyday dish storage. We designed a custom ceiling hung shelf system that floats in front of the windows, and is mostly out of view from the sitting area. Tall cabinets are installed along the only available wall to support both kitchen and laundry room functions. We used cable lighting threaded through the beams which really punctuates the industrial aesthetic.
Stebnitz Builders, Inc.This 2,500 square-foot home, combines the an industrial-meets-contemporary gives its owners the perfect place to enjoy their rustic 30- acre property. Its multi-level rectangular shape is covered with corrugated red, black, and gray metal, which is low-maintenance and adds to the industrial feel.
Encased in the metal exterior, are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a state-of-the-art kitchen, and an aging-in-place suite that is made for the in-laws. This home also boasts two garage doors that open up to a sunroom that brings our clients close nature in the comfort of their own home.
The flooring is polished concrete and the fireplaces are metal. Still, a warm aesthetic abounds with mixed textures of hand-scraped woodwork and quartz and spectacular granite counters. Clean, straight lines, rows of windows, soaring ceilings, and sleek design elements form a one-of-a-kind, 2,500 square-foot home
