Design & LoWe wanted to re-imagine the configuration of the classic metro tile by stacking vertically rather than horizontally which provided a more modern aesthetic. We integrated a tiled dado and skirting as a nod to the original period features in the home and introduced a befitting hint of grandeur.
This was a small bathroom to work with, so we were keen to keep the finishes to a minimum. We specified two colour tones of metro title with a strong blue and off white and painted both the walls and ceilings in a fresh modern grey. We added handmade porcelain wall planters by a local artist to add some contrasting green planting to the walls.

Studio MilneGreen, the serene colour of nature, was perfect for colour-drenching this kid’s bathroom to help them calm down at the end of a busy day and get settled for bedtime.
I wanted to add some playfulness to the bathroom in a timeless way, so I used a Claybrook terrazzo chunk floor tile and Mandarin Stone contemporary square wall tiles. A new bathroom is an investment, and I wanted to ensure that the young children who use it now could still enjoy it in their teenage years and beyond.
To maximise storage, I included an AquaRoc basin with a shelf underneath and a mirrored cabinet. The surrounding joinery also has open shelves for trinkets, toys, and books to keep the little ones entertained, and the cupboard on the left has floor-to-ceiling shelves to store spare towels and more.

AmberthOur clients wanted their family bathroom to be child friendly, but with striking visual appeal. We met both needs, installing a walk-in shower and full-sized bath fitted with chrome wall-mounted tapware. Aesthetic appeal was added in the form of powder blue walls and 3D-effect geometric floor tiles - a playful combination.
AmberthOpening up the frosted glass doors gives a full view of the split layout: shower on one side, toilet on the other. Both zones feel private, yet still connected to the overall scheme. The layout supports two people using the space at once, without it ever feeling tight.
