Stoneybatter House

Total redesign and refurbishment of a redbrick, Victorian townhouse, located in the increasingly popular area of Stoneybatter in Dublin. The entire was rewired, alarmed and had new high performance heating and insulation installed along with a new bathroom (relocated to the upper floor) along with new kitchen, a redesigned back garden and patio. We also created an extra bedroom / study along with a downstairs guest lavatory. The entire was redecorated with high gloss porcelain tiling placed throughout the ground floor at a 45 degree angle along with glass doors and simple modern lighting and window treatments.

Hallway, now redecorated in white with practical sunken doormat and glazed door. With the new high performance heating, internal doors can now be left open to allow for better flow and a sense of greater space. If closed, the glazed panels allow light to penetrate.

This was the original downstairs bathroom which was fully refurbished, damp proofed and highly insulated, before being redesigned to be used as a guest bedroom or home office.
