Removal of dark carpeting in favour polished, high quality, solid wood flooring. Brightening a dull oak kitchen (which looked as though it had been made by an undertaker) to something softer, brighter and warmer. These clients were excellent landlords and always maintained their properties to a very high standard and invested in upgrading works between tenancies. On this occasion it was decided to tackle the flooring. (The bathrooms had been extensively refurbished previously.) The curtains and lighting which were of a very high quality, even if not to everyone's taste, would have to remain until the next time the house was being upgraded. Overall, the transformation is impressive.
