Vanity size?

I am going to remodel my bathroom and it about the same size as your bath with vanity and toilet on left. Can you tell me the size vanity you used?

This was a custom piece that finished to around 30".

Mary, I am very glad to hear from you. I think of you often. It hurt me terribly when that unthoughtful person said what she said. I can only imagine how it must have hurt you. I would love to see how you have decorated for Christmas. I am almost certain there are differences between how our 2 countries do it. i agree with most suggestions above. but dont remove your current rug because u can actually layer a faux fur rug over it. plus your rug has amazing rustic colours and u can use them as accents. maybe over time you may invest in new pillowcases/quilt covers complementing the colours of the rug..peach/mint/cream/ to name a few. may also add some mettalic cushions combo. you can always take them off if you want that summery feel in which switch to sweet pastels. a lot of pillows are important! lol! i'd get rid of the plant. the dressing table n side tables could be black (lacquer may be interesting)with gold knobs (think art deco). dressing table should be move to the side so you get more light and space near the window. maybe mirror can be placed against the window so ull also get natural light when you're admiring your reflection. ur room has an eclectic feel to it.. its great just needs some rearrangments thats all.

If so it looks like the matching side table is being used for your vanity. If you can move the bed, use these on either side of the bed. Add small table lamps you can pick up cheap from a thrift store. Everything does not have to be new in a room to enhance the style. I'm with Barbara to find a pretty area rug you like. Maybe use the colors for new inspiration. Change your bedspread to a fluffy white comforter. Ikea.com has the neatest white net style lacy drapes for $3.99 a pair. They are very long & quite full so you can maybe buy 4 pairs to make them extra full. I don't know what your budget is however just making these few changes can help bring some new life & give you more inspiration. Oh, pick up a textured fluffy pink throw to drape over your easy chair. I know you must get fashion magazines. Go through some to find several fun photos, use a razor to cut them out & when you can buy some white frames for them to hang across from your bed to look at. Have some fun with it.

It small But your cabin sink unit is a good idea as you have storage space and it looks neat. I have changed my bath many times to shower unit and it has leaked every time, some times it has been the plumbers fault or bad design then it was a visitor who let the water spill while showering the last time it flooded the insurers wanted the bathroom TANKED! meaning waterproof walls and floors. This is done by an experienced plumber contractor of repute! as the insurers said too many claims from too many people with bad waterproofing. the insurer said they would not insure again or any other clients who had not got their bathroom water proofed by expert plumber fitters. SO I have gone back to the Bath with a shower enclosed and found it tops for waterproof.
