Would love to get some help with my bedroom

Hi, I would love to get some suggestions for my bed room.
I was a way for a while and my bedroom was used as a storage room. I am trying to rearrange and sort it out on a shoestring budget. I would like it to have a sense of glamor in the room but at the same time to have it warm and cosy and I can't seem to get it right. There also is a fireplace in the room which is in the process of being tiled with black tiles. I hope it is the right color for this fireplace?! Could you please HELP? Thanks

Comments (36)I would also definitely go white if the windows are on the green wall. Will be much more natural to tie the accent wall with the stark wht contrasting walls. Always a very chic contemporary look. Also very relaxing as opposed to the treatments standing out when you already have your standout feature- the green accent wall. Great white bed you ordered! Then I love all the blue/green/ silver accent advice. I did a similar room in purples/greys/ whites and we used great posted prints of florals with a little oriental flair in nice big mats w frames. You could do florals or nice big botanicals in greens would be very fresh and modern!! Comments (11)I would paint the room white and wall behind bed the same color pink that is in chair and then add prints above headboard and a large piece of art on wall on the right. Change pillows on chair and bed to modern and vibrant colors in grey/pink and yellow and add a coverlette to bottom. Purchase larger lamp for table on right and remove lamp from left side of bed and place a tray and some books on the ottoman. Move carpet to beside the bed. Comments (4)Hi Tatiana. As you haven't got an ideabook it would be great to have some idea on what styles and colours you like. The room looks lovely and bright, which way does it face? As the wardrobes are quite dominant I would go for something masculine in look but with feminine touches like the lamps, flowers, cushions, velvet, silk etc. so something along the lines of what I've pictured. If there isn't room for a sofa at the end of the bed I'd opt for a bed end stool. If you're not keen on 4 posters (although I might choose a simpler one) I'd consider a dark velvet bed with a feature ŵall or an oversized headboard. I'd also hang the curtain pole higher....See More

11 years agoThank you all, once again. I attach a photo of the chandelier. (it will be hang within few days).
The mirror is the one beside the plant (it looks black at the photo but it is an old gilded one - I love it).
The fire place is the original to the house (1903).
