“We worked with Josh to design and project manage an extension to our 1930s house in Dublin 7. It included demolishing our old kitchen and lean-to sheds, and building a new kitchen/dining room with a downstairs bathroom / utility room. Beforehand we visited several clients in the local area who had positive experiences with House Architects. The pricing structure was very clear. Josh was a pleasure to work with, and unflappable, which is always very reassuring. Once we had designs we were happy with, he worked to put the project out to tender and managed the relationship and the payments to the builder. This was the most valuable aspect for us. Particularly towards the end of the project, there were probably issues where we would have let the builder cut corners, but it was great to have Josh there to hold the line and ensure the project was completed to specification. We've been living with our extension for 18 months now and we're delighted with it - it's transformed the way we use the house and the garden.”

“We have worked with both Gareth and Seamus on separate projects. They have both been exceptionally pleasant to deal with. Skilled, knowledgeable, talented architects but above all, a couple of nice, reasonable guys. They have both provided very clear and unambiguous drawings and specifications and have managed the contractor-client relationships extremely well. The projects got finished and we all parted ways as friends - that's saying something! We would highly recommend this practice to home owners and contractors (or should we be encouraging competition?!?) equally.”

She is ably assisted by her architectural technician, Anna, who also takes the client through the detailed specifications of Edel’s plans. “PH Design has provided a great and speedy service. A great design has been provided to renovate a 200 year old cottage to update the extension to modern standard. The old part of the cottage has been exposed and preserved to show the original features. Everything was to outstanding quality and precision and planning was granted first time. Couldn't recommend PH Design more!”
