She devised a clever and functional design that made full use of the space available and radically improved the flow of the room, whilst still meeting our storage needs. “I took proud ownership of my new extension to my house this morning and would like to thank JEA for putting up with all my questions and changes I made throughout the project. Their patience and service is top quality and the finished product far exceeds my original ideas. I would thoroughly recommend them for any project or new build you have in mind as their expertise and knowledge is second to none and they have great contacts in the building trade. “We worked with Josh to design and project manage an extension to our 1930s house in Dublin 7. It included demolishing our old kitchen and lean-to sheds, and building a new kitchen/dining room with a downstairs bathroom / utility room. Beforehand we visited several clients in the local area who had positive experiences with House Architects. The pricing structure was very clear. Josh was a pleasure to work with, and unflappable, which is always very reassuring. Once we had designs we were happy with, he worked to put the project out to tender and managed the relationship and the payments to the builder. This was the most valuable aspect for us. Particularly towards the end of the project, there were probably issues where we would have let the builder cut corners, but it was great to have Josh there to hold the line and ensure the project was completed to specification. We've been living with our extension for 18 months now and we're delighted with it - it's transformed the way we use the house and the garden.”

“The big concern that everyone has when they are getting anything done with their house is 'trust'. Very often when we use the services of builders or architects, we are effectively taking a leap in the dark so it can all get a bit stressful. As well as being an extremely talented architect who will see and suggest things that we, the ordinary punters, would never see, Aleyn is a real gentleman who is completely honorable and trustworthy. All his designs are sent out to tender and he is meticulous in his follow-up as the project is being completed. It helps also that he is a thoroughly nice person who is soft-spoken and easy to get along with. If I were getting more work done on my house, I would definitely hire Aleyn again. I like his work and I have total faith in his ability to deliver the project on time and on budget, heartbeat.”
