The large greenhouse at THE PIG on the Beach is at the very heart of an idyllic kitchen garden. We worked closely with the team THE PIG on the beach to ensure the greenhouse was located in a natural setting within the garden. Attached to the wall at each gable end, the greenhouse is an integral feature of the garden. The greenhouse is used by the Kitchen Garden team in producing crops for their home-grown menu, as well as a spot for guests to look around during their stay.

Alitex provided a construction company with a National Trust Scotney Greenhouse, situated beside their wooden slatted garage, with nearby access to the firm’s stunning formal garden. Our client chose the colour Wood Sage, which blends in perfectly with the garage and surroundings.

This client wanted her glasshouse to reflect her prize collection of antiques. To use both as a growing environment and a social space. Our Victorian-style glasshouse was the perfect solution for both aspects.

A few weeks later and the Hop plant and rambling rose were already starting ramble up the structure.

When redesigning their estate, our client was looking for a centrepiece for their walled garden to elevate their rewilding project. With 7 metres of Traditional Benching, there is plenty of space for our clients to grow their favourite Tigerella and Sweet Millions tomatoes ready to make chutney. As well as growing fresh produce to enjoy, our clients wanted this to be a space to relax and enjoy a cup of tea. The addition of an extra door instead of just one in this cruciform structure creates a more free flowing path through the greenhouse.

The traditional Victorian aesthetic of our National Trust Collection sits beautifully along from the orangery at the rear of our clients Cape Cod style home. Wood Sage in colour, the greenhouse is used as a space for growing, as well as a creative outlet to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our client enjoys exploring hobbies like floristry, flower arranging and styling as a mindfulness practice.
