Gardening AngelThis home had zero front landscape. The client requested low maintenance, succulents and rock elements. The area was not full sun, but had significant morning light and in fact had quite a bit of shade. This was a bit of a challenge to specify plants that could thrive in mixed light, but could handle direct sun for several hours a day. We incorporated some tough but lovely plants that require very little upkeep except to trim off spent/dying leaves to keep them looking clean. By using a rock edging and heavy mulching under the plants, we further reduced maintenance. We added landscape lighting to show off the garden at night and to provide subtle welcoming light to the entry.
Craig Reynolds Landscape ArchitectureAn empty lot that was planned from the beginning, with the collaboration of the architect, to maximize the garden space by placing the L-shaped house in one of the corners allowing for every room to have a view of the expansive garden united by a swimming pool. The property was designed to be an escape to the tropics. Along with views of the pool, the property boast an outdoor shower, grass growing between oolite pavers and a natural glade in the corner complete with a hammock between strategically placed coconuts.

Gardening AngelAll dressed up for a wedding. We took a lovely entry and updated it with a landscape full of color and the soothing sounds of water. The first photo shown in the project is the design created in Photoshop. This gives the client an idea of how the finished project should look once the landscape matures. We used a simple color scheme of red, orange, yellow and white to compliment the house and walkway. The containers are Vietnamese pottery converted or plumbed into water vessels. The are positioned over an underground reservoir where the water spills through a rock bed and is recirculated through the pottery.

Armstrong Builders LLCNatural African sliding mahogany doors lead out to a spacious, pool-front lanai and magnificent ocean views. These features were designed to simplify indoor-outdoor living. The theme of simple and natural elements continues outdoors with an organically shaped pool and spa with travertine stone flooring.
LuxapatioFull outdoor project in Weston, Florida which included Travertine Pavers, a 32" X 20" Pergola, Outdoor Kitchen with all Twin Eagles appliances, Outdoor TV set up and Furniture by Kannoa. This project was completed in late 2013.
