This image features the main reception room, designed to exude a sense of formal elegance while providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The room’s interior design is a testament to the intent of the company to blend classic elements with contemporary style. At the heart of the room is a traditional black marble fireplace, which anchors the space and adds a sense of grandeur. Flanking the fireplace are built-in shelving units painted in a soft grey, displaying a curated selection of decorative items and books that add a personal touch to the room. The shelves are also efficiently utilized with a discreetly integrated television, ensuring that functionality accompanies the room's aesthetics. Above, a dramatic modern chandelier with cascading white elements draws the eye upward to the detailed crown molding, highlighting the room’s high ceilings and the architectural beauty of the space. Luxurious white sofas offer ample seating, their clean lines and plush cushions inviting guests to relax. Accent armchairs with a bold geometric pattern introduce a dynamic contrast to the room, while a marble coffee table centers the seating area with its organic shape and material. The soft neutral color palette is enriched with textured throw pillows, and a large area rug in a light hue defines the seating area and adds a layer of warmth over the herringbone wood flooring. Draped curtains frame the window, softening the natural light that enhances the room’s airy feel. This reception room reflects the company’s design philosophy of creating spaces that are timeless and refined, yet functional and welcoming, showcasing a commitment to craftsmanship, detail, and harmonious design.

A culmination of modern innovation, traditional craftsmanship and true inspiration, this unique space is a mix of everything that our designers are passionate about. Brick, marble, oak and stone are set against the clean lines of our hand-crafted cupboards in this unapologetically proud, industrial scheme. Beneath an exposed brick wall, tall statement cabinetry with oak doors framed with integrated handles, conceal the fridge and standing larder, whilst open shelving introduces an element of personalisation and textural intrigue. Standing centre stage, a statement green marble island stands majestically, surrounded by contrasting brick red coloured tiles and sumptuous tonal seating. Industrial accessories add to the elemental tone of the room, which is grounded by the soothing green and brick red of the tiles and marble.

The large kitchen and dining room opening out onto the garden at the lower ground floor. The head height was increased by a metre in order to match the upper ground floor. The space is greeted with an expanse of light and greenery, out through the 3m high Crittall style doors. The rough hewn garden steps lead you up to the original garden level and a purpose built fire place at the end of the garden, the perfect space for entertaining on sunny evening.

This dining space, part of the New England & Cape Cod–inspired home by Studio212 Ltd, is designed to celebrate connection with the outdoors. Expansive sliding glass doors open the room directly onto the terrace and lush garden by Victoria Truman Garden Design, creating a sense of dining within nature. A stone-topped dining table is surrounded by upholstered chairs that balance comfort and style, sitting on a neutral rug that defines the zone within the open-plan layout. The simple pendant light above ensures intimacy, while fresh flowers on the table reinforce the natural dialogue between indoors and outdoors. This composition demonstrates how architecture and landscape come together to create a calm, elegant setting for everyday meals and entertaining alike.

This enamelled cast iron bath has interesting feet more contemporary in design than the usual ball-and-claw seen on other classic baths. Paired with the teal splash of colour, it creates a lighter look along side the dark oak wood panelling. Art and lighting have also been used in a fun way.

Sussex waterfront contemporary. This amazing contemporary family home is located on the waterfront in an area of outstanding natural beauty overlooking the harbour. The design has developed as a response to the location and to take advantage of views over the sea, countryside, and adjoining meadows. Every element of the architecture and interiors has been considered to maximise both form and function – beautiful contemporary design and practicality tailored to the client’s aesthetic sensibilities and lifestyle. The home features the use of Danish brick, cedar timber and a zinc roof all in a natural palette of materials on the exterior and neutral design scheme on the interiors using sustainable and natural materials. The gardens have been designed to maximise the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces and include wildflower meadows, and soft and hard landscaping. A fabric first approach to sustainability has been used and the design allows for natural light to penetrate the building while considering shading and thermal gain. The interiors have been developed around functionality while employing a clean modern design and the use of warm natural materials. A true dream home with dream clients!
Back Garden Terrace in Bearsden

The back garden presented some unique challenges due to its significant level differences. Limited access made the space nearly unusable for our clients. The original hardscaped terracing needed significant updating and rebuilding due to partial collapse. We were tasked with adding functional seating, installing a water feature, and developing a safe way to access the bottom part of the garden. Learn how we were able to access all three levels of the serenity garden: The area was divided into two terraces on different levels to avoid an overwhelming 'bunker-like' impression. Our team completely removed the old structures and installed new retaining walls that have been built from gabion stone baskets. We installed stainless-steel water shelves extending from chevron-patterned Siberian larch decorative screening. A daily-use patio of porcelain slabs was installed to create a large dining area at the top terrace. A darker shade of slabs creates a line cutting through the whole area, creating a visual axis ending at the water feature. The middle terrace is more like a chill-out zone with a custom floating bench and additional mobile seats that you put on top of the gabion wall, making it ideal for more sheltered, private gatherings. Stairs from the middle terrace lead to the bottom garden, contrasting the highly developed upper garden. The bottom garden is a wilderness haven with extensive planting and a decent-sized frog pond. The new upper garden can be considered an observation point situated on the edge of the wilderness.

We are delighted to reveal our recent ‘House of Colour’ Barnes project. We had such fun designing a space that’s not just aesthetically playful and vibrant, but also functional and comfortable for a young family. We loved incorporating lively hues, bold patterns and luxurious textures. What a pleasure to have creative freedom designing interiors that reflect our client’s personality.
