You like to connect with others at the end of your working day, but you prefer solitude during work hours in order to fully immerse yourself in whatever project is currently feeding your soul.

A calm corner with a view of nature is your ideal working set-up and you will do your best to keep it clean and organised. You like to start your working day with a ritual or habit, such as lighting a candle or opening a favourite notebook, to get you into the right headspace and you always try to keep your desk clean and inviting.

Calm organiser: Your home office is thoughtfully set up and is a warm and welcoming space. A view of nature is important to you, and if you can’t have that, then you surround your space with inspiring artwork or photographs of favourite places.

Others love to work with you because you exude calm and capability and your home office area always feels welcoming. You’ve arranged your space carefully, with a comfortable chair and computer set to the correct height, and you like to have a plant or two on your desk and a favourite mug close by. You try to set regular hours and do your best to stick to them, helping you to draw a line under work at the end of the day.

Creative spirit: Your home office is your creative zone and you need to surround yourself with visual inspiration in order to work productively. Your space is typically decorated with pictures, postcards, plants, books and lots of colour; you’ll prioritise anything that makes you feel creative and you’re not a fan of minimalism.

You can skip from project to project if the mood takes you, but when you get into the zone, you can fully focus on an individual project to the point where you sometimes forget to take breaks and your working hours can flow into the evenings if you feel inspired. Your desk space is an extension of you and your personal style.

Working from home needs to offer you connection and social interaction, so you work best in a shared space. Zoom calls hold no fear for you and you enjoy chatting to others remotely.

A home office space in a kitchen or living room can be a good setting for you, allowing you to work independently with the hum of a household around you. Taking time to meet others for a lunchtime walk or class is the highlight of your day and, while you do need some periods of quiet in which to focus, you structure these around regular social breaks.
