Who says comics are just for kids? Cartoon accents can add a bold and fun touch to any kind of home
For some homeowners, the fantastic world of comics is a daily reality. A cartoon panel can work as a feature wall, inject some colour into an otherwise monochromatic scheme, and, in some cases, even look downright artistic. In the rooms below, designers and homeowners have provided some comic relief for their interiors.
When you want to make a cartoon more arty than comical, abstracting it will do the trick. In this bedroom, by Ba Design Group, an enlarged cartoon face became a mural.

What is pop art, if not a giant cartoon? We can’t say for sure if the artwork in this New York room, by House of Clement, is indeed a Roy Lichtenstein piece, but it certainly gives the otherwise reserved space a pop of whimsy.
