Just visited a gorgeous client embracing the renovation of her stunning Victorian property...she still had the Aga on because the house is "always so cool". You're right...she ignores the quirks & she absolutely adores the proportions, the history & the character.

Our small Victorian cottage lost many of its traditional features with previous owners sadly. Been dreaming of finding something original in good condition. Unsalvageable original floors were very sad to find and poor refits in the late 80s and 90s and no maintenance since left our poor home in need of love. However the bones of the home are in excellent condition even if the are a little uneven! However it’s never been easier to refit with traditional pieces and using contemporary methods to ensure the home is also cost effective.
