Advice on hallway decor

We're in the process of putting up wood pannelling in the hallway. Total DIY job but I think my husbands doing great job! I've included pic of wallpanneling and the floor tile in our hall. We're thinking of painting panelling white and want to put wallpaper above panelling as walls aren't great. Would welcome suggestions on wallpaper choice! Thanks.

Nice art but a bit too large for this spot. See how the frame is above your door frame. If it were mine, since the door appears to open into the next room, I'd consider modifying the sideboard to be used as a rad cover and lower the art so its center is 5' above the floor. It can stand on its own, and you can paint the frame the same color as the sideboard to unify them and the space. You might also add an art light that attaches to the piece for more evening interest.

Hi Odette! Have you had any progress with decorating? Hanging a mirror could be good in terms of light reflection and making a space seem bigger than it is. I like your idea with the photographs and horizontal lines - I might add some adjustable spotlights to make a feature out of the photographs! For e.g.

Hi, great sized hallway! If it were me I would hang one large picture over the table and maybe move the pictures already there to another wall.. a large chandelier or light of your choice would fill up the ceiling also a large rug for the floor would 'warm' the space nicely..Good luck!
