Marks on taps - help!

Hi. I had brand new taps fitted about 6 months ago and also had a water softener fitted at the same time. The main reason for this was to supposedly keep all of the appliances such as the taps looking new and shiny. However some marks have formed on the taps and I can't get them off. They don't look like water marks and seem to be embedded within the metal.does anybody know what would cause
this and how I can get them off? Thx

Comments (7)Thanks for all the replies. I have the blind ordered so I cannot change this. However, if it were to be fitted to the outside frame of the window, it would be let down on top of the tap. I`m not planning on tiling, as we`ve recently repainted the kitchen. I am trying to attach some photos from this website to show examples of pelmets that may work. Would suggest you get built in book shelvers on both sides of fireplace, lift tv into a slot it fits perfectly into (make sure you have power on both sides). Then it will disappear more rather than fight with fireplace as focal point. I am always disappointed with mirrors over fireplaces, they become dark, are to high to reflect much. Plus then you have three rectangles fighting for center stage. I'd say very colorful artwork instead. Wonder if you can reorient tv where the big chairs are so both tv and fireplace are addressed? The purple tones of the grass mat wall paper nice, more modern, the gray tones, a little more traditional. So either will achieve a nice look, it's a matter of taste....See MoreRange Cooker Help
Comments (0)Hi, Hoping that someone might be able to give me some advice. We're buying a new house - the owners had a 120cm wide range cooker (not included). I'd been looking at RangeMasters but the max width they come in is 110cm wide. Ranges at the 120cm wide seem to be much more expensive and while I've no doubt that they're really good, RangeMasters are as much as we can really afford to spend at this point. Does anyone know if it will look terrible/ok if I just install a 110cm cooker in the 120cm slot? Or if there's anything I could do to fill the gap? Are there any good quality 120cm wide range cookers at the 2k price mark? I'd consider buying a second hand range cooker but not sure whether this is a good idea or what to look for? @queenbee - I used white vinegar spray and let it soak for an hour and then scrubbed. It got rid of a few marks but most are still there 😔
