Colour matching help

Hello, I have an original rouge royal marble fireplace in my house and we will be painting the room soon. I’d love to get some help with ideas on what colour to paint the walls. If anyone has any pictures of a fireplace of this colour it would be great to see them. I feel like it’s an awkward colour marble to select paint for. Thanks!

Probably the light catches the wallpaper in a different way than the paint on the wall, so the cream paint didn't seem to work as well as you'd hoped. It's tricky... Maybe if you painted a swatch of the right green he might learn to love it?
