We replaced our large chest of drawers with built in wardrobes which are very successful re storage and we no longer need nor have the space for our chest of drawers. So now we have the wardrobes, bed opposite and small two bedside tables. I am really missing the top of the chest of drawers as a surface for creams, hairbrushes, make up jewellery and random miscellany. We would have room on either side of the bed but also need bedside level surface there. Question - what does everyone else do who does not have this surface in the bedroom? Bathroom shelves are hardly big enough. Ideally I would have a skinny chest of drawers AND a bedside table on either side of bed but wouldn't that look really clunky?

We have a double sided stove dividing our kitchen and living room. We also built a half wall between the two rooms with the idea of placing our TV there. We don't want to place the tv over the stove and there are windows/patio door on all the other walls. Any recommendations on where to place the tv? We were thinking of a wall bracket that could turn the tv to face either room,but I don't like the idea of seeing the back of a TV. Then I looked up cabinets that a TV can go up and down into and turn 360 degrees, these seem very expensive and I don't know where to source them in ireland. Now we are considering studding the wall and having a TV wall mounted and can be seen in the living room only. Any comments or suggestions.

I am remodeling my kitchen and I order a 29 1/4" deep refrigerator, what size (deep of panel should I get to be able to put my fridge inside the panels

I think lovely opportunity to move couch onto wall opposite armchairs move all seating in away from walls (would probably change in time type seating as too large for room ) allowing circulation with coffee table in the middle. This then opens up wall that couch on now for a unit with open shelving housing the TV there as some gorgeous examples of these & can add colour . Lovely bright room smaller furniture for sure .
