We are replacing our fireplaces and I can’t decide between white limestone and Carrara marble, just thought I’d throw it out there and see what colour / material people would suggest? The wall colour is a bit unusual but is my hubbies favorite colour, eating room red by farrow and ball with strong white on ceiling and woodwork (although am thinking of painting all the way up to ceiling in red). The red can look quite old fashioned so trying to avoid that!
