Hi doritros3980, The body of the kitchen cabinets is plywood and the doors are MDF covered with good quality formica that looks like real wood. The reason for that is that the owners have 3 small kids and wanted a durable, easy to clean kitchen that they wouldn't have to refinish every once in a while. If my memory serves me right, the formica is by Fromex, no. 5733 (one of the "Ritz" finish series), horizontally laid. The handles are integral to compliment the horizontal strips of the wood-looking-formica. The countertop is caesarstone and the back-splash, like the front of the upper cabinet above the sink, are painted tempered glass. Are you planning a new kitchen?
