Need help with my new kitchen

I need some help please, I have put in hand made cream cabinets on the lower part of one wall only and I don't know what to do with the upper part of the wall. I was thinking of painting it, but what colour, or should I tile it??

any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you

what about a nice metallic grey/silver glass - would work very well in this room i think

There's a lot of cream/same colour in that room. You could contrast or offset. Try glass fronted wall cabinets in, say, blue. Or open shelving to display pictures, books, colourful jars etc.

I do not see velvets and silks for a kitchen sink window sorry. There are plenty of gorgeous fabrics around with beautiful damask or geometric pattern that are striking, that could be found in a faux silk or linen. Velvet is something that I would never put in a kitchen. But it is your kitchen.

I have same tile, size but a lighter grout. I'm doing glass tile backsplash, under cabinet lighting to make it really pop. New hardware on cabinets, painting cabinets. New sink, can't afford new appliances. But your kitchen is larger, light and nice counter tops. Don't have a clue what to do, white Formica and it's cracking, ugh. I'm thinking of using indoor/ outdoor area rugs and runners. Please share if you find solution. good luck, doecreekgirl

Need Help to plan a Layout for my Kitchen, with Island, We are buying a new house and the only change we cannot make is the cooking place as the chimney is fixed by the builder. We are planning to have a breakfast bar, with dinning table to accommodate 6 people and a TV on the wall, space to do some homework while cooking.
