Hi all, what color cabinets would you put in a North East facing kitchen. For most of the day the room has a cold blue light and is dark. I was thinking of a light coffee color for base cabinets and a cream for the top as white would be too cold? Am I right? I can't decide on what color Quartz to team with it. Thanks for your help
Wow, one usually takes into account so many things beyond what direction the room faces -- for example, what color is the floor? where are you located? what is the style of the house? etc.
I never thought of that. It's a small room, I'm going for wooden floors throughout the whole ground level to make it flow better. I haven't decided what type either! I love limed oak floors but I'm in Ireland where it's damp a lot, so something that doesn't show up the dirt.
Cambria Torquay seems very popular. My kitchen faces north too. I like having white cabinets. I think I would keep white cabinets and use a pastel color on the walls.
Thanks Emmarene. My current kitchen is cream shaker and looks very yellow under the lights. Maybe white would work...ahh too many decisions. Don't have to pick till after Xmas. Hopefully I'll have decided by then.
