Garden Office / planning permission

Hi all, does anyone know anything about planning permission for a garden office for a maisonette share of freehold? We already have a shed at the end of the garden which I’d like to redesign to be an office and potentially add plumbing, but would otherwise stick to lower than 2.5m height. Online they give lots of details for houses, but nothing on maisonettes, so am not sure where to start. Thank you very much for any advice! For information, the local council is Islington Council which have closed their planning office due to Covid, so I wasn’t able to get through to anyone.
