we have a new extension and new patio with the patio tiles continuing the line of the internal floor tiles going length ways. There is a step between the living area and the patio. the question is should we do the step with the tiles laid horizontally -photo 3 or continue the vertical line photo 4, helping to create more of the inside outside look
I agree with Exacting Standard, it also helps define the fact that it is a step and therefore, you would be less likely to trip because you would know it's not a continuation.
