What are all the services I need in a new barbeque porch area

Yes, as Im starting from scratch I need to include all the services at this time and plan for the future. Kitchen,dining,sitting and bar area. The area will be 10meters X 4meters

We have built this south facing house and want to put a patio area outside the French doors (kitchen & dining area) on the west facing side of the house. I'm trying to get ideas to make this area more private without losing the afternoon sunlight. My big problem is that the entrance driveway goes in front of the patio area. Hi Antoinette I too live in Ireland in a Semi Detached. My husband who's the one with green fingers has transformed our garden into an oasis you wouldn't think we lived in a housing estate. You might start with cleaning the slabs. You could change the edging tile with a contrasting one to set it off. Use different sizes and colours of pots. A seating area in one section. Use lots of different colours and plants which are ok to grow in pots. Just seeing all the colours come to life in Spring and Summer will cheer you up. Here are some photos that were taken at the end of summer last year the leaves have started falling from the trees. Oh yeah still have the clothes line up too.

I wouldn't paint over the stone at the top and would look at having the wall repaired before painting it. It looks like you will have some type of vine growing so that greenery would be nice when it fills in. I would paint the wall and floor bright colors ( perhaps blend it with your salon decor colors ) They have beautiful outdoor rugs now that you could lay on the floor of the patio and then you could look for some nice outdoor wall art. Wrought iron wall art etc. or even a fountain. Make it bright and cheerful.

I would use some tall grasses. The roots would keep that soil stitched together well. They have little maintenance and look fantastic in the light and breeze.
