I just purchased a Shark electric floor mop. they cannot answer my question whether I can use their Multi-Floor, Hard Floor Cleanser on my UV-oiled floors. Is this product safe for this type floor?
We have a property with a Hard Wax Oil floor. It's best to wipe dustier areas with a damp cloth. You can use a 'spray mop' system with a cleaner in it, but this should not be done too often. Obviously a 'steam' system would no be such a good idea as it could potentially soften and lift the wax finish. ( Soap will lift the wax and make a soggy mess that will need to be scraped off )
Daily cleaning should be with a damp mop, no detergent and cold water.
