I love the staircase! Can you please tell me the name of the company that designed and installed the wrought iron banister on the staircase? Thank you so much! MEC

I designed the bannister and had a local metal working shop make the railing, finish it, preinstall and final install onsite. It was $18k

Narrow and dark. If you can add metallic paint or wallpaper or even mirror on one side you can visually open up the narrowness so it doesn't feel so long and straight. Paint is easier to remove but some wallpapers add great depth which also serve to widen a narrow hallway. Be sure to consider lighting as well. Anyway I look at it, this is going to be something creative when finished. There aren't much combinations that you could use with this green, but white oak is a solution for the spindles. Another solution would be to go with white (this means that you'll need to paint the spindles), but you'll need to give the board, newel post, and handrail a walnut or mahogany colour. Thanks for your reply and examples. I'll be changing the pendant light. It's not to my taste. I'm considering a beige colour on the panelling now and a off white on the walls. I'd love to change the carpet on the start to an oatmeal neutral colour but with a strong border. I'll paint the stair spindles white but not sure what to do with the banisters. I'll like a strong colour but not sure what would look best. Any thoughts?
