Comments (3)bamboo or woven roman shade in a medium honey color with lots of texture would look lovely, casual but tailored . Not too overpowering for your subtle wallpaper which is beautiful. dont forget privacy liner. most bamboo or matchsticks are see through....See MoreNeed inspiration for window dressing
Comments (1)Okay, this is a kitchen but it has the same window/door layout. I agree with your idea of doing Roman blinds for the window and curtains for the door And some other photos...See MoreWindow Dressing Expertise needed!!
Comments (9)Morning You say that privacy isn't an issue so I would dress the main window and the small window on the left hand wall with roman blinds. I would mount the blinds outside of the recess t make more of a feature and not steal any of the light. Regarding the two narrow windows I would leave them undressed and get two matching vases, ornaments etc and place them on the window sill to make a feature. I think that blinds would be too fussy and would detract from the rest of the room. If you wanted privacy you could always add some frosting to the two narrow windows The furniture you've chosen is beautiful I'm sure it will look fab! Really hope this helps, good luck with the rest of your project!...See MoreUnbalanced living room - Off centre fireplace and 1 window, any ideas?
Comments (0)Hi, I am amazed by some of the advice I have read on here so I hope you can share your wisdom on our living room. We're mid renovation and here we are so far: I would love to have balance on the fireplace wall. Any ideas? I have thought about a large piece of art to the left of the chimney but the TV also will go to the left. (I'd rather keep TV away from chimney breast). How would you balance the window dressings also? I like the idea of very high sheers but will that work and from wall to wall or just over the windows? The room is 6.1 metres x 5.4 metres. It's North facing so this is as bright as it gets! We're in the process of picking a fireplace too. How would you bring balance to the room?...See MoreSV Design
