Window dressing help

So I love the wallpaper in our bedroom and when we moved in I quickly hung plain blackout roller blinds but now it's time to address that area. We are putting in a shelf for books at the top and then I was thinking plain roman blinds - maybe matching the colour up with the wallpaper colour??? Is there anything else I could do here?

bamboo or woven roman shade in a medium honey color with lots of texture would look lovely, casual but tailored . Not too overpowering for your subtle wallpaper which is beautiful. dont forget privacy liner. most bamboo or matchsticks are see through.

I think roman blinds matching the wall paper color is a great idea.

Hi. I don't think a curtain/s in the middle will work as you'll have the radiator either side plus a potential issue with the poles? Why not try Romans (if they fit, as i can't see the inside of the window frame!) and a single curtain either side? Rather than use tiebacks so they're draped across the window just use a holdback similar to the pic so they're held back instead. This one obviously has a pelmet but you could add poles which just overhang the top of the window slightly

Yeah was thinking a larger mirror ....we have nothing done with the room yet. Afraid to ...in case I get it wrong. Was thinking of pulling the sofa out from the wall a little at an angle. Maybe wingback chair near fireplace...want to keep it kinda open and minimal....maybe console table to the left of the mantal ...or move the tele all together ..I dunno. The room isn't that narrow... Its about 12 feet wide at either side of the mantal

Hello, We extended our living room into the kitchen and now have a couple of arched windows a rectangular window and French doors in the room. My question is, should we put curtains on all windows and doors or curtains on some and blinds on others? Any advice appreciated.

Thanks meonyc - you've just put the thought of going near the colour of the bed which was an option I hadn't thought of.
