Warren French InteriorsA coastal Scandinavian renovation project, combining a Victorian seaside cottage with Scandi design. We wanted to create a modern, open-plan living space but at the same time, preserve the traditional elements of the house that gave it it's character.
Design Interiors LtdThis young family wanted to create an open plan, social space that had plenty of room for their energetic children. It was important to them that they had good visibility from the kitchen through to the snug area where they could see what the kids were up-to whilst they were cooking & entertaining.
The 5 panel shaker door is completed with contrasting & simplistic brass handles & painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Black Blue’ to give a contemporary accent to this traditional design.
To present a sleek & relaxing element to the design Tim incorporated a BORA pure extractor hob, SIEMENS studio line appliances in graphite grey, black Quooker hot tap & 20ml ‘Cloudburst’ concrete worktops. The island worktop over hang allows for comfortable family dining.
EdgeThe flow of this kitchen matches Jojo and Anthony's yoga filled life. We have created a relaxing and meditative space for these two to cook, socialise and unwind.

Chalkhouse KitchensThe lean-to at the rear of this traditional property had seen better days and our client, planning for her retirement in the not too distant future, wanted to create a space with a fresh, coastal feel, somewhere she could cook, relax and entertain friends. Removing the old fashioned back door and adding wider full height glazed doors and Velux windows flooded this once gloomy space and transformed the room. Keeping things light, the furniture was painted in Shirting, a soft white by Little Green Paint Company, and on the tall fridge and larder cupboards a summery blue shade, Designers Guild Cirrus Cloud. A peninsular with light oak worktop was included to separate the dining room from the working area, with an open bookcase for cookery books and space for two stools for friends to perch. Nordic pendant lights add to the mid century feel of the room, with a pale oak dining table and matching oak chairs picking up the colour of the breakfast bar. This is now our client’s favourite room in the house, she’s just waiting for the day she can enjoy it 24/7.
Anthro ArchitectureView of the beautifully detailed timber clad kitchen, looking onto the dining area beyond. The timber finned wall, curves to help the flow of the space and conceals a guest bathroom along with additional storage space.

Floor to ceiling Crittal style windows create a light and airy space, allowing the homeowners to go for darker, bolder accent colours throughout the penthouse apartment. The kitchen cabinetry has a Brushed Brass Finish, complementing the surrounding exposed brick perfectly, adding a vintage feel to the space along with other features such as a classic Butler sink. The handless cupboards add a modern touch, creating a kitchen that will last for years to come. The handless cabinetry and solid oaks drawers have been topped with concrete worktops as well as a concrete splashback beneath the Elica extractor.

Jones Britain KitchensWe chose a flat, matt laminate door in a pale grey with matching grey cabinets. The tall larders surround the American Style fridge freezer, housing all food storage at one end of the kitchen. The main worksurfaces with the large sink, Quooker Flex boiling tap, dishwasher and pull out bins, provide ample space for food preparation and the open shelf above keeps all essential accessories easily accessible. Tall cabinets at the end, housing the single ovens and multipurpose storage, balance the overall look in the room without being overpowering so near the dining area.
The island is that central hub with bar stool seating, allowing for comfortable conversation while the meal is being prepared or a quick snack. Plenty of deep drawer storage below for all pots, pans and cutlery keep them in that central zone. The beautiful, veined quartz worksurfaces, including book matched end panels on the island, bring that touch of luxury and detail which compliments the grey green paint used on the accent wall. Narrow shelving installed above the bed, is used to display artwork and treasured pieces. The room faces towards the front of the property and its occupants afforded privacy by the three metre wide, narrow window, positioned to look out of and not into the room.
Miniature ManorsThis sleek garden office was built for a client in West Sussex who wanted to move their home office out of the house and into the garden. In order to meet our brief of providing a contemporary design, we included Western Red Cedar cladding. This softwood cladding has beautiful tones of brown, red and orange. The sliding doors and full length window allow natural light to flood in to the room, whilst the desk height window offers views across the garden.
We can add an area of separate storage to all of our garden room builds. In the case of this structure, we have hidden the entrance to the side of the building and have continued the cedar cladding across the door. As a result, the room is concealed but offers the storage space needed. The interior of the storage is ply-lined, offering a durable solution for garden storage on the garden room.
