Contemporary boys bedroom design

In this custom-designed family bungalow, the kitchen was envisioned as the heart of the home — bold yet warm, streamlined yet full of life. The clients asked for the need for exceptional storage, a clutter-free environment, and spaces that seamlessly blend function with aesthetics. To meet these goals, we designed a contemporary kitchen with clean architectural lines, natural textures, and intelligent spatial planning. Matte walnut cabinetry brings a deep, organic warmth to the space, while sleek quartz countertops and a dramatic stone upstand and tiled splashback adds striking contrast and visual impact. The colour palette balances earthy tones with crisp white and brass hardware, achieving a perfect equilibrium between boldness and comfort.

All utility cabinetry is painted in Little Greene Pompeian Ash 293 with matching shaker doors and antique brass Corston Kilburn knobs. A Franke Sirius sink in Polar White is paired with a Franke Eos Neo pull-down tap in black, set into Horizon Stone Alaska White polished worktops. Miele washing machine and tumble dryer are integrated within tall housing, while open shelving and hanging rail space provide additional practical storage within a compact, coordinated layout.

The talented team at Kerv Interiors worked their magic, keeping the charm of the classic features while breathing new life into the space with bold patterns, rich colours, and varied textures. The original character of the property shines through, but there’s a fresh twist that makes everything feel so much more vibrant and alive. From the intricate tile work to the thoughtfully chosen decor, every detail has been carefully considered and tastefully executed. We designed a built in banquette bench seat in the kitchen diner of our Herne Hill project, had it upholstered in a faux leather and added lots of scatter cushions as well as bamboo blinds for cosiness

Re-fit of an industrial space to provide an adaptable home that maximises available volume and celebrates the building’s raw appeal. A series of effective interventions allow the space to host a brand range of live work actives without compromising the bright open feel.

Master bedroom
