Che Bella Interiors Design + RemodelingOur colorful and custom designed cabinetry is the focal point of this quaint back-entry mudroom in a historic home in Minneapolis. In the beginning our clients requested a mudroom that had a bench, storage, and that would possibly have a door that would shut so that their dog could stay in the room while they were running errands. When we showed them our plan to not only have a bench, but make it a useful flip-top with dog food in the left and a dog bed on the right they were incredibly excited. Why not make the most out of a custom piece of cabinetry?

Sustainable KitchensBirch Plywood Kitchen with recessed J handles and stainless steel recessed kick-board with a floating plywood shelf that sits above a splash back of geometric tiles. Plants, decorative and kitchen accessories sit on the shelf. The movable plywood island is on large orange castors and has a stainless steel worktop and contains a single oven and induction hob. The back of the island is a peg-board with a hand painted panel behind so that all the colours show through the holes. Pegs are used to hang toys and on. Orange and yellow curly cables provide the electrical connection to the oven and hob. The perimeter run of cabinets has a concrete worktop and houses the sink and tall integrated fridge/freezer and slimline full height larder with internal pull out drawers. The walls are painted in Dulux Noble Grey and Garden Grey. The flooring is engineered oak in a grey finish.

MDB Design GroupA remodel of a 1950s Cape Cod kitchen creates an informal and sunny space for the whole family. By relocating the window and making it a bay window, the work triangle flows better and more sunlight is captured. The white shaker style cabinets keep with the Cape Cod architectural style while making a crisp statement. The countertops are Caesarstone and the backsplash is natural limestone is a classic subway pattern. Above the cooktop is framed limestone in a herringbone pattern. The ceiling was raised to one level with recessed lighting directly above the countertops. A new bench seat for casual family dining takes up two feet from the kitchen and some of the family room. The small closet was converted to a desk area with easy access. New teak wood flooring was installed in the kitchen and family room for a cohesive and warm feeling.

Poësie IntérieurPour cette rénovation complète d’un appartement familial de 84m2 l’agence a opté pour un style éclectique et coloré. On mélange habilement les styles et les époques pour une décoration originale mais intemporelle, composée d’éléments coups de cœur et de pièces maitresses pour certaines chinées, comme ce poêle prussien.
La personnalité des clients s’exprime en chacune des pièces. Les couleurs (pré-dominantes dans ce projet puisque même la cuisine est colorée) et les papiers peints ont été sélectionné avec soin, tout en assurant une cohérence des espaces.
Ce projet fait également la part belle aux matériaux nobles et à la réalisation sur mesure : décor de verre sur mesure dans l’espace bibliothèque, menuiserie et serrurerie, zellige et Terrazzo dans la cuisine et la salle de bain.
Un projet harmonieux, vivant et vibrant.

We curate prints, patterns, color, and ornate antiques seamlessly and intentionally. To maximize our client's closet storage, we showcased her best bags & hats by the door. A few tall, metallic cowboy boots begging to be worn complete the experience.
