This country kitchen is part of a larger house project completed by The Secret Drawer. The building was transformed from several rooms into one larger space. Special attention was paid to retaining the rustic features including the wooden beams and stone floor. Furniture style is sophisticated and timeless, and lines are simplistic and well-balanced, allowing the quality of furniture to speak for itself.

The setting here was an absolute delight, a landlocked gardener’s cottage with an abundance of beauty all round. This was very inspiring for the layout and design for one of our most favoured kitchens.
Already home to several H&P freestanding cabinets, we wanted continuity and harmony within the new kitchen addition. With a love of fabrics and antiques the design remit was to provide a backdrop of simplicity and lightness to allow for the beloved accessories to sit pride of place. The natural choice of style was our Shaker design, with its clean and uncluttered look. Whilst the soft and muted colour palette choice completed a picture of calmness and serenity.

This is the 'comfy lounge' - in contrast to the family room this one is calm, it is peaceful and it is not a place for toys!
The neutral tones and textures in here are a delight and the colour is subtle, shaded and tonal rather than bold and pop like. You can kick of your shoes and grab a cuppa in here thats for sure.

We did a full refurbishment and interior design of the kitchen of this country home that was built in 1760.

The Goat Shed, Devon.
The interior complements our design beautifully, with light, bright finishes to create a calm country feel, mixed contemporary materials and tones with country rustic textures.

This guest bath has a light and airy feel with an organic element and pop of color. The custom vanity is in a midtown jade aqua-green PPG paint Holy Glen. It provides ample storage while giving contrast to the white and brass elements. A playful use of mixed metal finishes gives the bathroom an up-dated look. The 3 light sconce is gold and black with glass globes that tie the gold cross handle plumbing fixtures and matte black hardware and bathroom accessories together. The quartz countertop has gold veining that adds additional warmth to the space. The acacia wood framed mirror with a natural interior edge gives the bathroom an organic warm feel that carries into the curb-less shower through the use of warn toned river rock. White subway tile in an offset pattern is used on all three walls in the shower and carried over to the vanity backsplash. The shower has a tall niche with quartz shelves providing lots of space for storing shower necessities. The river rock from the shower floor is carried to the back of the niche to add visual interest to the white subway shower wall as well as a black Schluter edge detail. The shower has a frameless glass rolling shower door with matte black hardware to give the this smaller bathroom an open feel and allow the natural light in. There is a gold handheld shower fixture with a cross handle detail that looks amazing against the white subway tile wall. The white Sherwin Williams Snowbound walls are the perfect backdrop to showcase the design elements of the bathroom.

This transitional timber frame home features a wrap-around porch designed to take advantage of its lakeside setting and mountain views. Natural stone, including river rock, granite and Tennessee field stone, is combined with wavy edge siding and a cedar shingle roof to marry the exterior of the home with it surroundings. Casually elegant interiors flow into generous outdoor living spaces that highlight natural materials and create a connection between the indoors and outdoors.
