Does anyone who works with granite know if this neon green spot in our granite is natural? The granite guy says he won't replace the huge slab that is our center island and that this is normal and it can't
And shouldn't be fixed....the island is the center point of our kitchen and you see this right away. It's about the size of a nickel. Any feedback is appreciated!

Comments (16)What I'm actually wondering though is about mixing the metals - so having the chandelier and lamps with the touch of silver - or would I be better to source antique brass lamps like I have in some other rooms in the house - I kind of wanted to feature quite a bit of glass, and generally the glass comes with chrome, but I'm not sure if it's too modern for the sideboard etc, and mores worried about the clash of metals, but something tells me it might be ok in this instance! Comments (3)The only problem is you are going for a traditional fireplace and granite is a fairly modern look you could go for a lighter shade , remember its your house if you like the look stick to it. I would go into some fireplace shops and see what they look like, i'am sure whatever you put down will look lovely....See Morecking280
