Hi, I have this dressing table and added large mirror instead of the matching one so not sure whether to get the matching stool or a furry stool which comes in an array of colours, if so which colour do you think is best from the swatches?
I’ve not yet checked to see if they are same height but the sheepskin ones are called beauty stools so I reckon they would be similar size to the more classic stool..
In the past I’ve updated a couple of old dressing table stools by simply painting them white and adding a fake sheepskin rug to the top. It needed a bit of trimming but was easy to attach it to the legs by stitching.
My dressing table stool was from Dunelm. It’s lovely quality and has a lid with storage so good for hairdryer, makeup etc. Mine is a dusky pink but it was also available in grey but I cannot find it now so must be discontinued. This is a similar one from Debenhams. I wonder how easy, or not, the furry one is to clean?
Just checked the cleaning and sheepskin is naturally dirt repellant, the cover comes off and can be shaked out and brushed/spot cleaned so sounds quite low maintenance, now to decide whether to go for the matching stool or the more funky sheepskin one…
