Need help for my tiny rented bedroom!!
Comments (4)Thanks! Yeah I tried to rotate the bed so the headboard would be opposite the radiator but it meant the wardrobe doors wouldn't open. I may need to change the bed frame to include storage space alright but it would need to add height not width which is tricky to find ready made. I like the idea of a loft bed but since it's rented I don't think I could really do anything that involves attaching to walls......See MoreMaster Bedroom, help??
Comments (3)Thanks for the suggestions. We have considered moving the partition wall and have asked our architect to draw sketches of the same but he's not keen on the idea! Great suggestions so far - any further ideas much appreciated!...See MoreNeed help decorating main bedroom
Comments (0)I am about to re-decorate main bedroom and need your help. Currently one wall has built-in wardrobes in Mahogany which I want to paint in a soft grey together with bedside lockers and dressing table. I would like one feature wall behind the bed head (bed head is a classic brass design which I want to retain unchanged) I was thinking of a wallpaper in possibly an aubergine colour; or maybe I should wallpaper the other two walls in aubergine and do something else behind the bed..... I really need your help I'm stuck. Also what colour/fabric should I have the curtains in? The room faces north-east and has a roomy en-suite fully tiled in tiny mosaic white tiles with a black/silver/glass mosaic tile border at dado rail height. Should both of these rooms blend into each other or does it matter?...See MoreEn-suite layout
Comments (2)Can you change the entrance in the small ensuite to service the back bedroom; then convert the small bedroom into an ensuite for the master bedroom? If you move the wall on that room right out to the door of the master bed you'll gain, in guessing, 300mm. Ensuite at 2m*2m would be large enough, you'd then have the space for a narrow walk in wardrobe 2m*1.2m, giving a walking space 7/800mm wide, just big enough. To get natural light in the you could put glass in part of the partition walls up high, both at landing side and ensuite side. Alternatively, make small room into a jack and Jill, big saving on cleaning and make old ensuite into wardrobe....See Moreclapot31
