hello looking for ideas
Hello , I just moved to a new house and knocked down a internal wall to make two rooms into a larger one, need some ideas in designing a walk-in wardrobe. Attaching a photo of the space , will take more photos tomorrow

Comments (20)I agree deepen the color, don't change it and yes art art art! maybe lessen the presence of the brick with the earlier suggestion of the metal cogs its and use traditional artwork pics/nature/paintings on the painted wall. I also like the idea to paint the part of the wall that juts out in a darker shade of the same color. Now you have lots to consider and lots to dismiss as well. Comments (12)Two ideas. Both times I would block up the entrance to the second half of the room to make more usuable space. Both ideas have a island with a dining table attached. Obviously these drawings are not to scale but everything should fit in. I would utilise the kitchen cuboards for utilities- intergrated appliances. If you can dont forget to use the space under your stairs as well. Although I suggested a carpenter in my first comment, I used Sharpes for my wardrobes and I was very pleased with the workmanship. They came up with ideas of how to configure the internal space and were able to incorporate an awkward stair box. The wardrobes went wall to wall and right up to the ceiling so no dust traps. They weren’t cheap but the fitter was excellent.
