What will you work on in it? What will be stored? What type of electrical is available to it? That will determine a large part of what you will want to do with it. We fully insulated and climate controlled our workshop, but that wouldn't have been possible without running a 200 amp subpanel to it. Which wouldn't have been possible if we didn't have a larger than average electrical service.
Hi all thanks for comments so far. I will be just Using it for normal day to day DIY things. I would like a work bench some storage etc I will get photo of what I have soon and upload
I have only recently built my house and garage, so I'm looking to get my garage setup in such a way I can store my lawnmower, ladders, paint brushes, paint tins, etc and still have a work bench for use when finishing in finishing the interior of the house like the skirting boards, painting, tiling etc
Have you thought about installing slatwall in your garage? Handiwall is a great way to get all of your garage necessities hung up and organized and since it takes the clutter off of the floor you will have plenty of space for a work bench. I've attached a few pictures as examples of garages with our HandiWall that allows people to have their garage set up just the way they'd like it.
