Frameless shower door

Dear sir or Madam,
How are you? Love that about design. I am going to remodel the bathroom. I have frameless shower door too but every side (L sharpe, left side next to the wall and another side next to another wall) that the handyman has installed by silicone. After years the silicone go yellow and look very old even I clean or dry off after used. I saw lot of that just with the clips? Is that safety? Or it is clips and silicone too? How to make very safety without clips? Is that possible installed in the inside of the wall? Or could you please how can make very very beautiful and safety?

Wow, I really like this design and the rest of the house....really has a lovely flow to it and is very bright. My only concern with opening up the original living room to the hallway would be that the existing house is poorly insulated and would leave the front room cold during the winter. I imagine the existing front room as a dynamic room in that the doors to the dining room can be closed, a stove fire turned on and it would be a quiet reading/relaxing zone in the house. Though I must admit...the above example provided is really tempting. thanks Dytecture!

I had a bi-fold made, less than 500$ with install. It replaces a lowes door that was not hollow core, but crappy enough to fall apart at the joints. It was the best money I have spent on a door, because it solved a huge privacy problem, and is solid as a rock. Each side is hinged on the sides, and the top rail is hidden with a piece of wood set outside it, in the same wood as the doors (cypress).

Glass surround on shelf? Add plants to soak up overspray? Maybe have a carpenter extend out that wall so you can tile it flush with tub enclosure?You're right that this is a challenge. Without ripping it out, I can't see any great options. I worry that water damage over the long run would cost more than a remodel now.
