Great design

Looks fantastic, do you remember what size the TV was and how long that wall was?

We are considering something similar but have a 75" TV on a 14'L wall and 9' high, not sure if it will look too busy

Hi Mark, This TV is around the 50" range. If you made everything wider you could accommodate your larger TV. Hope that helps!

About your plumber saying "plumb layout is confirmed". That is a load of rubbish. It's fairly easy to move drains around (yes he might have to rip up some walls, but he can also do off-the-wall installations to avoid that). In a small bath proper placement is of the utmost importance!!! If you have the bathtub and shower next to each other that will be much better and then the glass separator idea should work. padmaramachandran's (see post above) setup sounds more reasonable to me as well (see first picture below). This is similar to your setup but as you have more space you could put in bath tub and shower where the picture only shows a bath tub. Also if you do it that way you could theoretically have a bidet or a wider wash basin (small double perhaps too). Example layout: Do you need a bathtub in the guest bath? If not you have a lot more room to work with. E.g. for a double wash basin and large walking shower and a bidet (2nd picture). Example of off-the-wall installation for toilet and bidet and a large walking shower. Finally if you ignore this advice and do it the way you planned ;) then I suggest you really thing about that glass separator. Doing it right will make a lot of difference (see 3rd picture). If it's a drop underneath that's about 1m then perhaps a lowered seating area might be better for keeping you out of the wind ? If you have a gravel or stone floor in that section - and enough space - then a kadai fire bowl in the middle will keep you cosy too ? Look out for second hand boat cushions for weather proof seating. Or make your own using foam and oilcloth . Then add floki rugs or thick throws or sheep /deer/reindeer hides to sit on ... A photo and some measurements might help ?!

All, Looking for advice from those who work in Kitchen Design. I recently finished my studies and am qualified Interior Designer (Higher Diploma BTEC). I am currently working at Kitchen Design Showroom. I was hired specifically do 3D Kitchen Renders / Presentation Packs / Face to Face presentation of proposed design to clients etc. I really love kitchens design and even though I am qualified designer, my course emphasis was Commercial Design (Hospitality / Retail outlets). I feel I have a lot to learn in order to feel confident to design kitchens (logical next step). Can anyone recommend good go to resources for Kitchen Designers - books, links? Am I best off learning on the job or do people think it would be worth doing a follow on Diploma specifically in Kitchen Design? Thanks everyone!
