The doors pictured open into the room and it's not an option to have the TV on the opposite side as there is the door to the kitchen and french doors into the garden there. Any ideas?
If you aren't going to open the fireplace, how about in the niche? Built-in if you have the budget and this could incorporate storage. You could place a large, bold painting or print above the fireplace as a focal point.
Love Carol’s idea, or you could change the doors opening out into whatever room is on the other side of those doors. Or lastly, have it on the wall above the fireplace. May be a bit too high resulting in neck ache.
Thanks for all your suggestions. Just some more info, I am considering having the doors flipped, but the whole doorway will need to be taken off and turned around due to the beading so it's not an easy fix. I'm not personally a fan of TVs on the chimney breast and the fireplace will be opened up.
TV on the wall between French doors and kitchen seems the only other option? Depends on the size of the room and the possible layout of your furniture too
