We have two spot lights in our kitchen and we were going to have wall lights but its no longer practical. So I want to add a couple extra spotlights above the work surfaces. Is this easy enough to do for an electrician or we it make a total mess?
should be easy enough if you don't want them switched separately. access under floorboards above is one way but also often possible for them to make minimal holes in ceiling and rod through, depending on where joists run. if extra holes are needed then they can usually be done with a hole cutter, the removed piece screwed back, filled, sanded and painted afterwards.
