We are starting a project on a lovely unmodernised Arts and Crafts semi-detached house in London. I've used Peel Away 7 and 1 in two test patch areas to removed red brick paint - we hope to restore it to its natural mellow brick, but seems to be a tougher nut to crack. Any advise much appreiated!
I’ve never attempted that, but one of my mum’s neighbours house was painted red (the houses had lovely red brick so a bit of an awful thing to do) but new people moved in and painted it cream with black windows and black railings. It looks amazing. The row were Coronation Villas built in 1911.
thank you - two test patches look promisng and metal brush attachment to power drill looks like a good answer to the tedious muscle work - the only way is forward!
