Ceiling light suggestion?
Exactly what it says on the tin. Looking for inspiration for a ceiling light for our bedroom....all ideas welcome!

Comments (6)if you're not going to center the dining room table under the light, then I'd tend toward a flush or semi-flush fixture, to de-emphasize the alignment. You might want to remove the medallion from the ceiling too. I'll look at that paint suggestion, walks are white at moment but that paint you mentioned seems like it could be brighter. If I were to change or recover bed - any suggestions? Comments (2)It feels bland because floors and walls are beige. (ish). If you want to make a statement about a room. contrasting shades work really well. You have spotlights so the south aspect is irrelevant. Put a dimmer on spots if not already there so you control the light and feel of a room. I presume the fire is staying there so that back wall would be perfect for TV to be put on/entertainment system. Corner couch facing tv wall with chaise lounge on fire side. Behind the corner or L shaped couch, table and chairs so the room is functional for entertaining also and the layout is proportional. Comments (0)We had a very nice porcelain tile laid in our kitchen. It looks like a distressed grey wood plank. We would like some suggestions as to what flooring we should use throughout the rest of the house. Carpet is not an option and the installer said that because of the way the current floor is installed, tile is really not an option either. The walls are light grey with purple accents. PRO5 years agohow do you like some simple downlight on the ceiling, and two wall lights beside bed, less is more. White lights would match better with your room style.
