i also wouldnt be too happy with this design, ist very boring, all Brown and tan... so. get some nice blues and teals for throws and cushions, maybe with bit of yellow in it a round or oval coffee glass table would work much better here and reflect more light, adding teal accents - vases, and Greens- artificial plants etc. rugs - some ideas - , get colourful deco accents on your fireplace mantel as well, no more tan ;) i love your clock, but i dont think this is the best place for it, i think a big nice artwork with some Pop would work much better here - clock could go to Foyer, staircase wall etc. artwork - good luck, hope that helped a bit.

hi everyone, dropping by to say us twins are off to the 'self build' at city west this weekend, decided on sunday so i can rest tomorrow. twin very undecided about all of this, she needs some reassurance, hard to find that in todays pace. not entirely sure who i could ask! anyway we are off to a top specialist hospital soon, very soon so we are getting our medical files all sorted right now. we have an extremely rare disease so we have to go out to get the help we need nada in ireland, i know i have a test lined up for the very first day on arrival, if they take any more lumps out of my muscle without anasthesia i will go nuts, yes my friends not for the faint hearted and i mean it, they cannot deaden the muscle, guess they have to see it wriggle!!!!

I think most of the non-pro's who comment on here love interior design so aren't likely to have used a pro tbh but I may well be wrong! I'd have a word with AJ, you can also look at her design dilemma suggestions for others houses if you go onto her profile. alternatively click onto the find pro section and search for designers in London. You can have a look at their galleries, reviews and indicative costs. Or you could just post each room on here and all types of people will provide feedback! The potential downside of this is you may not get a cohesive look, plus it may be time consuming for a whole house. In terms of the hall, white needs light to work and the end looks a little dark although that may just be the pic as my iPad turns even the brightest rooms dark! The tiles also appear more cream than white so maybe a white with a yellow or even a red undertone may work best or a pale, warm neutral. This might sound a bit like being on the fence given the advice you've had already... How about a mid to dark grey ( less contrast than black), RAL 7022 is a favourite of mine (warmer grey), or look at a green grey, as something that will have the colour of the olive, with a good amount of contrast against the white render, (you won't have the warm rich colours of the brickwork as in the photos above (which the olive looks good against)). If you are painting the timber windows you would do well to look at microporous opaque stains to reduce your on-going maintenance. A benefit of aluclad composite windows is colour outside can be factory supplied different to the interior finish. Hope this might help. Regards, Nick
