Need help with redesigning front of house
Comments (10)Thanks for the feedback, we had something similar in mind. Would you suggest bringing the door out to the front? What about the windows either side, we would think about replacing maybe in a different colour, possibly grey, and add some cedar cladding to the house front and paint walls grey. We are also toying with the idea of bring double doors out to the front with arclight over head and then to add coving around the windows with arc that mirrors the arc light to try and soften the whole angular look to to the front. All suggestions welcome. Thanks Brian...See MoreOur new home
Comments (20)Please, please, please, don't paint any of the wood. You have a beautiful setting for mid century modern décor. I can agree with removing the carpet from the stairs, however I would just want to add a jute floor covering for the stairs after. The light fixtures should probably both be changed. You even have a lovely roomy space in your foyer. I always recommend starting with the foundation of the room, which is the floor covering. Kilim, ikat, Persian or Oriental would be my choice. I would think minimalist would be very fitting in this space....See MoreWhole house re-decor , for sale purposes
Comments (33)Hello Duncan, They are good and I am biased as I don't use companies that don't provide trade discount... as I usually like to help my clients out... Here's a few images and an edging on a runner can be lovely too... I have also included one of a painted stair... So you have an option all of which are rather striking.... : )) x http://www.naturalrugstore.co.uk/coir-rugs.asp?gclid=Cj0KEQjwiKS3BRCU-7XQ75Te3NoBEiQAA2t_xPmcwAZ3TS0Qhq1t1hzYsP-r8oFgdC385qXO88eXioYaAjCE8P8HAQ The painted one... I would include the banister in this scenario.....See MoreExterior painting
Comments (6)After washing the facade there two options, 1 prime or 2 paint. 1. Use primer only nano technology (nano primer, paint, or plaster keeping their façades look bright all the time). 2. If you consider paint recommendation to use also nano paint or nano thermal ceramic paint. Nano paint just keeps the facade with no changes for life, but thermal paint not just keeps the facade bright at all the time but also dry out your house and reduce heating costs up to 33%.
