We’re just about to refit a bathroom. A traditional freestanding would suit the look but we had one years ago and it was really difficult to get in and out and not comfortable. Has anybody a recommendation for a bath which looks good, is easy to get in and out and is comfortable for a long relaxing soak reading a book?!
Just a few questions (!) What kind of style? (You mentioned traditional) What kind of size? Will it be in the middle of the room or will in be against a wall? Do you need it for showering?
The bathroom is being moved into a currently empty square room and the bath can be any size (within reason!) and any position-in the middle, corner or against the wall. It can be freestanding or built in. There will be a separate shower. In terms of style- I’d like it to be a feature which is why (except for comfort) a traditional freestanding would have been perfect. I think the answer will be built in with a comfortable sloping back but if anyone has an alternative, I’d be pleased to hear!
