Comments (17)Hi. Have you ever considered a real interesting eye catching piece of art work to really brighten up an area, I think a select piece of art would really make the space stand out, add interest, colour, texture and add a great talking point to the room.... Please check out my website if you like the idea and please get in contact, commission work is also welcomed so if you like a particular style I can do in a select colour palette and size as an original piece…..I’m also able to produce all original paintings in high end print format, in any size same or smaller than the original. (all within proportions to the original so not to cause distortion) All prints shown are Giclee prints onto soft textured fine art media. All prints come with a white border these can be made to measure too. So lots of options, www.guigsart.co.uk...See MoreOpen Plan Kitchen & Living Area Advice Please...
Comments (4)A few things I would change from experience...instead of a single and double door I would spend the extra money and put in a bifold corner section...would open up the space so much more. as for the kitchen...completely flip your design...put your breakfast bar closer to the window...make it large and multipurpose with the hob in it and then put your main band of cabinets either left, right or behind? We have recently restructured our existing cabinets to this layout and put in new countertops and it works far better than before!...See MoreHow to stain stair banister+ type of stain?Advice please
Comments (1)I want to stain the front newel and banister and then i am painting the spindles white. All i want to to darken it a bit but to create a nicer contrast but not too dark. I am just unsure how to stain the banister or what product to use?? I was in woodies and they advised me to use the Ronseal interior Varnish that is a 2 in 1 stain,So i was thinking maybe a dark oak maybe has anyone used this? Or should i use a separate stain amd then clear varnish??? Do i need to pre-stain the wood with a conditioner?? I have sanded it back with 80 sandpaper. I plan to use BIN primer on spindles and then satin finish, to avoid sanding each one. Any advice appreciated, as im a bit of a novice!!!...See MoreMayo Custom Kitchens & Baths LLC
