please help to integrate the wardrobe

Hi all, we moved to a new house and I decided to paint the old built in wardrobe doors dark grey to match the radiators in my daughter’s room. To add some wow factor I did golden stars and replaced the handles. After putting all the elements we had from the previous house I feel the wardrobe looks disjointed and out of place. Not sure what can be done to make the room look coherent and stylish. Any advice will be welcome! Thanks!

Comments (4)I really only need the sliding doors I think as I have the body of the wardrobe well worked out I have ended up with needing 6ft by 6ft sliding doors and a few accessories for inside as I already had the poles and my husband is a chippy so he helped me with the body of it. 5 years agoIt doesn’t go with anything else at the moment but it could..... what about painting a canvas in same/similar as your wardrobe and putting that in the room. A collection of black frames with different gold pictures in (like a mini picture gallery). Although I adore your Seagrass belly basket you could use chalk paint on that and do your star design or similar to pic attached? Use throws or cushions to tie in?

5 years agoI think the room looks great, love the pink and grey together! It really doesn't need anything doing but if you're not 100% happy I might swap the light for a feather pendant. Add a random star decal in dark grey on the 2 walls where the headboard is. Consider a dark grey sheepskin for the teepee and some scandi style art over the chest of drawers. Maybe when she's older add some cushions etc for the bed? maybe try the chair in front of the corner shelves so pull the teepee towards the window slightly?
